Shrek the Third

My friend Kathy and I took her great nieces to see Shrek the Third last week. It was good but not great. Definitely not as good as the first or second movies but ehh...what do you expect with sequels? The girls seemed to like it but I am not sure they understood it, especially the three year old. She laughed when I laughed.

It was good. I do not think it was worth $9.00. I would wait and see it when it comes out on DVD.

Pirates of the Carribean: At Worlds End

Matt and I went to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie today with some friends. I think the consensus that we all liked it pretty much. It was much better than the second movie. With the way the ended things in the newest Pirates, I can smell another one brewing.

Oh and now I find out that we should have stayed until after the credits because there is another scene. Wish I would have known that. So, STAY until after the credits.

Anyway...we enjoyed the movie. Go see it. It is better than the second.

Cambridge Renaissance Faire

We went to the renaissance faire in Cambridge, Wisconsin today. It was a little nippy but fun none the less. It was a lot of fun. We took lots of pictures.

Well...we got tickets!!! YAY! I also took a few pictures. I will upload them later. No time right now. Gotta get to a 6 year olds birthday party.

Brew Fest 2007

Well fans...here we are again. Brewfest is in August. Tickets are on sale today. Matt and I are sitting in line drinking our coffee ready for Brewfest '07. We are just hoping we get tickets. We got here at 8:30am and there was already a long line. We are further back than
last year but there is hope that we will get tickets. The good news is the weather is not bad at all. No rain. No snow. Have sun. A little wind. Is a bit chilly but it is better than years past. I will post updates when we are done...count down to ticket time is...2 hours.

Hot Fuzz

Matt and I went to the movies today. Been a while. Have not been to the movies since 300 came out. We decided on seeing Hot Fuzz. This movie is from the makers of Shaun of the Dead and stars some of the actor from Shaun of the Dead. If you saw Shaun of the Dead, you will probably enjoy Hot Fuzz. It was full of laughs. I really liked it and would watch it again. Matt said it was funny and was a good action movie for a comedy.

So, I recommend seeing Hot Fuzz if you want a good laugh.
