Spider-Man 3

We saw the new Spider-Man movie on Saturday. It was okay but I do not recommend paying the extra money to see it in IMAX. Matt liked it more than I did. I thought it was okay. It was very dark.

Pirates of the Carribean: At Worlds End

Matt and I went to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie today with some friends. I think the consensus that we all liked it pretty much. It was much better than the second movie. With the way the ended things in the newest Pirates, I can smell another one brewing.

Oh and now I find out that we should have stayed until after the credits because there is another scene. Wish I would have known that. So, STAY until after the credits.

Anyway...we enjoyed the movie. Go see it. It is better than the second.

Hot Fuzz

Matt and I went to the movies today. Been a while. Have not been to the movies since 300 came out. We decided on seeing Hot Fuzz. This movie is from the makers of Shaun of the Dead and stars some of the actor from Shaun of the Dead. If you saw Shaun of the Dead, you will probably enjoy Hot Fuzz. It was full of laughs. I really liked it and would watch it again. Matt said it was funny and was a good action movie for a comedy.

So, I recommend seeing Hot Fuzz if you want a good laugh.

Matt and I saw 300 this weekend. I think it was the bloodiest movie I have ever seen (or at least the bloodiest I have seen in quite some time). It was an okay movie. I will not be watching it again and it is not a MUST HAVE when it comes out on DVD. Matt seemed to really like it. He said it looked good and was a good movie. I think this is one of those movies that you have to see on your own and judge it yourself. I do not think reading reviews and hearing what other people think is a good option (kinda like Borat...I hated that one).

So go see it (or not) and let me know what you think.

Reno 911: Miami

Matt and I just got back from seeing Reno 911!: Miami. I have not laughed so hard at a movie in such a long time. It was so much better than we thought it was going to be. I recommend seeing it. You will laugh.

If you liked the Comedy Central show, go see this movie. It is stupid but funny.
