What do you call it?
Okay, so the Great Soda Debate is still kicking. What do you call the fizzy, carmel colored drink?
In the south we called it ALL coke. It did not matter if it was Coke or Pepsi. You always got what you wanted when you ordered a coke.
Up here in Wisconsin, people call it pop. I really do not understand this but hey...I do not claim to understand much about people from up here anyway. To me, "pop" is what you call your father.
And still there are others who call it soda. Now that makes sense. I suppose.
And then there are our grandparents from the south who call it RC. This is because before Coca-Cola and Pepsi became popular, Royal Crown (RC) was the soda of the day. Matt's grandma still orders RC whenever she wants a soft drink.
So what do you call it. I am curious to know. Post a comment and let me know.
Cheers!!!
