A Cheese By Any Other Name....

So, Matt and I were watching Rachel Ray's show $40 A Day on the Food Network tonight. She was in Belgium. She also ate an eggplant fromage sandwich and the word FROMAGE struck me as friggin' hilarious.

Google defines Fromage as "A French Cheese."

Heather defines Fromage as "Nut Cheese."

Think about my definition. It just does not sound like something I would like to eat. LOL. I'm sorry ya'll....it just really struck me as funny and I'm sure in a few day's I'll wonder why the hell I even posted it.

If you have any words that you find too funny, please post them. I want to see what makes you laugh.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Matt and I went to see the new installment of the Harry Potter series last night with my friend Lynn. I was all psyched about it because I have really enjoyed all the other movies. Unfortunately I was disappointed with this one. I feel like this movie was hyped up more than it needed. I did think it was a good movie but a bit on the long side. Thirty minutes before the end of the movie, I was soooooo ready for it to end. I thought it was drawn out but I will say that the book was a long one. There were some really funny scenes and there were an equal amount of not so good scenes. I have heard mixed reviews--some good, some not so. But do not read my post and not go see it because of what I have said. Go see it and let me know what you thought.

Wait a minute....

Starke a secret? For those of you who do not live in North Central Florida, Starke is a tiny little town in Bradford County. It is where the electric chair (Old Sparky and the chair) in Florida is and houses the workers from the state prison (Raiford). But to those of us who grew up in Florida (especially North Central), we know where it is. It is hardly a secret to us. But apparently the reporters at First Coast News find it to be a secret. They said in this article that Starke is not even on a map, but Google Maps found it. Hmm...someone did not do their homework. You can read their story here.

I found this article interesting yet somewhat silly. Thought it was worth sharing.

Adios!

Sheesh

Okay...when Wisconsin lands on Fark, we know someone has gone too far with something. Over in Sheboygan, a man attacked his girlfriend with a cactus. That's right, a cactus. You have to read the story. I know it's not funny but, a cactus. Come on people. Sheesh.

The Midnight Swinger

Okay, so for my birthday, a group of us went to the Comedy Club on State Street to see one of my favorite comedians-The Midnight Swinger. This trip to the comedy club also marked the first time I've ever paid to get in. LOL....I'm such a radio whore (I win free tickets...hehe).

If you ever get a chance to see this man....DO IT!!! He is from Vegas and does a lot of shows there too. I've seen him twice now here in Madison and he's just as funny.

To read some testimonials, visit the Swinger's online pad here.

Cheers!!!

My New Addiction

So, my friend Alanna got me hooked on Most Haunted on the Travel Channel. It takes place in England. There is a team of historians, mediums, and experts in the paranormal field. They go from place to place searching for paranormal activities. Last week, they had a live version (which really wasn't live in the U.S.) with webcams on haunts of Jack the Ripper. It was so creepy. I highly recommend watching this show if you are a believer. It is a lot of fun and sometimes very creepy.
